“This weekend was the tail of 2 teams. Saturday’s game the score was not a true indication of how we played. We had plenty of scoring chances. It was our failure to finish the plays at New England’s net. On the defensive side of the puck we were to loose in our zone. Did not protect the slot or the front of our net. Sunday was the opposite. We started slow going down 2-0. Braden Daigle did a great job in net making 2 great saves. The second of the 2 saves was from in close where he had to go from left to right to make a pad save. That save seemed to wake us up. The second period was a back and forth affair. I think we took control in the third had the better of the chances. Going to the net hard. That’s where we scored both goals from in tight. Front of the crease. The winner in ot was a 3 player effort by Zack Gagne , Lema Muradov and Connor Busch. 2 quick passes up ice leading to a 2 on 1 with Muradov and Busch coming down the right side. with Busch holding the puck in close he looked to Muradov. Their goalie anticipated the pass instead Busch took a quick shot that went just under the bar on the short side.” – Head Coach Jack Lowry
