The Wild struggled against the Fighting Spirit 6-1 in home game

The Maine Wild struggled against the L/A Fighting Spirit allowing Dylan Vrees to score a hat trick as Maine crushed L/A 6-1 in a home game at Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Maine. Furthermore, the Wild's defense had a poor night, allowing L/A 33 shots throughout the game. The L/A Fighting Spirit took the lead late in the first on a goal from Dylan Vrees and never looked back.

In the first period, Siegel opened the scoring for L/A with a goal at 12:16 with a helper from Vrees. Vrees put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 16:08 with assists from teammates Mccormick and Sullivan.

In the third, Vrees netted a goal at 7:20 with assists from his linemates, Labrie and Siegel. Hamilton put in a goal at 17:38 with helpers from Labrie and Vrees.
