During the second, Hickey netted a goal at 1:17 with helpers from his teammates Trudeau and Rudek. Twardosky quickly followed with a goal at 1:22 with assists from Hoxie and Busch. Hoxie put in a goal at 5:10 with helpers from Busch and Gagne. Gilboy scored a goal at 8:56 with assists from Gagne and Busch.
During the third period, Rudek answered for Northeast with a goal at 0:26 with helpers from his linemates, Perry and Trudeau. Braley deposited what turned out to be the game winning goal at 13:57 with an assist from Bellew. Rudek scored a goal at 18:20 with a helper from Trudeau.
