Lewiston/Auburn penalty kill dominates in 2-0 defeat of Maine

Despite having to fight off several power plays, Lewiston/Auburn was able to defeat Maine, 2-0.

Lewiston/Auburn was paced by Walker Hamilton, who registered one goal. Hamilton scored on the power play 6:50 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Lewiston/Auburn. Lewiston/Auburn had gotten the advantage when Maine\’s Riley Lavoie was sent off for tripping. Jordan Crowe provided the assist.

Lewiston/Auburn stifled Maine\’s power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Lewiston/Auburn forced Maine goalie Brandon Daigle to work between the pipes, taking 32 shots. Lewiston/Auburn got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Lewiston/Auburn also got a goal from Laim McGrath as well. More assists for Lewiston/Auburn came via Mike Heffernan and Dylan Vrees, who contributed one each.
