The Wild had 3 games scheduled for this weekend, a home and home vs. the Long Beach Sharks and a 3rd games at home vs. the East Coast Minutemen. Sunday’s game was canceled due to weather.
On Friday, February 10, The Wild traveled to the Long Beach Sharks for a 7:30 PM matchup. Long Beach would open up the scoring with a goal 11:42 in to the first period. Maine’s Tucker Twardosky would tie the game at 1 a piece just 7 seconds before the end of the period. Twardosky’s goal was assisted by Joey Mazzochia and Dylan Demers. The Sharks would come out flying in the 2nd with 4 straight goals. Twardosky would show hope for Maine again with a goal with 26 seconds remaining in the 2nd. His goal was assisted by Derek Erbe and Connor Busch. Maine found the back of the net early in the 3rd with a goal by Cameron Campbell just 46 seconds in to the period. His goal was assisted by Drew Lambert. Lema Muradov would bring the Wild within 1 with a goal 8:01 in to the period, assisted by Connor Busch and Zach Gagne. Long Beach would notch two more before the end of the 3rd giving Maine a 7-4 loss. Chris Oshaughnessy had 22 of 26 saves and Brandon Daigle 15 of 17 for Maine.
On Saturday, February 11, the Sharks would travel to Maine for game 2 of the home and home weekend series. The first period would be all Long Beach as the would score 3 in the first. Maine would get the sole goal in the 2nd, 7:14 in by Connor Busch, assisted by Zach Gagne and Chris Hoxie. Unfortunately, the scoring would stop there for Maine as Long Beach would tally one more in the 3rd, giving Maine the 4-1 loss. Brandon Daigle turned away 40 on 44 shots faced.

The Wild have two games scheduled for next weekend. On Friday, February 17, they travel to the East Coast Minutemen for a 8:30 pm match up, then return home Saturday, February 18, to host the Northeast Generals at 7:30 pm. All Wild games can be watched live on Hockey TV.
