Dany Shestakov had no trouble finding the scoresheet, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Mason Ledbetter chipped in with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist). Leevi Kervinen contributed with 2 goals and Cam St. Amand delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).
In the first, Kervinen opened the scoring for the Islanders with a goal at 12:27 with helpers from his linemates, Conway and St. Amand. Ledbetter answered for Maine with a goal at 16:03 with helpers from his teammates Wilson and Dorman.
During the second period, Murphy deposited a goal at 8:32 with assists from Shestakov and Ledbetter. Hinckley quickly followed with a goal at 9:32 with assists from Doyon and Constable. St. Amand netted a goal at 14:23 with helpers from Little and Conway.
In the third, Kervinen put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 3:10 with assists from his linemates, Conway and Limovitch. Shestakov answered for the Wild with a goal at 17:00 with helpers from his linemates, Decarolis and Dorman.
